Extremely Rare and desirable Rolex GMT Master II Ref# 16710B-3186, “M” Series, c. 2008. Stainless steel case, on stainless steel Oyster bracelet with flip-lock clasp, steel bezel with original blue and red “Pepsi” bezel insert and 24 Hr Markings. Sapphire crystal, case diameter 40 mm, screwed down crown and caseback. Self-winding movement, date, central sweep seconds, independently operated GMT hand. Black dial with framed luminescent hour markers and hands. The watch is in impeccable condition and is complete with box and booklets and warranty card dated June 2008.

 

This particular example of GMT is highly collectible in that it has the newer caliber 3186 movement, it is also an “M” Series, a transitional year for the GMT, which upgraded to the newer Ref #116710 with the Ceramic Bezel insert, and the 16710 was produced in very small numbers in 2008. Additionally, the watch has the Stick II, as opposed to the Roman II or Rectangular II, making it more collectible.
