Gents Rolex Submariner in stainless steel Ref# 168000 circa 1987. On stainless steel Oyster bracelet with flip-lock deployment buckle. Rotating bezel with black insert. Case diameter is 40 mm. Self-winding movement with date. Black matte dial with luminescent hands and framed hour markers. This case has not been refinished. Papers dated November 1987. Watch is in mint and almost unworn condition, complete with original receipts.

The Ref# 168000 was produced in very small numbers between the Ref# 16800 and the Ref#16610, although the papers have the reference number of the 16800, the case bears the reference 168000. This reference does not appear in any Rolex literature and is somewhat of a “Ghost” watch, and highly regarded by watch afficianados and collectors.
