Description

Gents Patek Philippe Jumbo Calatrava in 18k yellow gold, Ref# 1589J. On a black reptile Patek strap with the original 18k yellow gold tang buckle. Smooth bezel with an acrylic crystal. The case diameter is a rare large size for such an old watch at 36 mm. Manual wind movement with sub-seconds. With a beautiful, extraordinarily clean silver dial with applied hour markers and Roman numerals. This watch is circa 1954. Comes with a contemporary presentation box, and service papers dated July 2022 and has 2 years warranty left on the Patek service. The hallmarks on the case and the buckle are crisp. Accompanied by an Extract of the Archives detailing Manufacture and Sale in 1953. Very Good condition.
